For Max’s first single, I flew out to Nashville and co-wrote this song with him. We deliberately wanted this song to sound and feel a bit more “DIY”, so we limited ourselves to recording everything with one microphone into a basic interface, all in Max’s bedroom. With the bare minimum, we were able to make a song that strikes the balance between raw and refined.
